Eagle Bluff 2017: We Came, We Saw, We Died.

Well...obviously we didn't really die, but if the winter survival and pioneer life courses weren't pretend, there are a number of 5th grade kids that would have perished several times over. Some may not have even made it past breakfast.

The picture above was them learning how to fail to make fire. Flying colors.

Truth be told, if you have to die in the woods in frozen January, there are a lot worse kids to be surrounded with as the lights go out. I had a good time learning with this crew.

Eagle Bluff is a good reminder for me of how kids kind of suck at living in past generations, but they might just do fine in the future one.

Back to civilization! And good coffee.
